Twelfth in $30,000 FALS Spring Shootout
(May
12, 2024) Gordy
Gundaker Racing was in action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series over the May 10-11 weekend in the Land of Lincoln. On Friday
night, the annual running of the 'Farmer City 74' drew 55 entrants
to Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois to vie for the $25,000
first place prize. Gordy Gundaker unfortunately missed out on the
74-lap headliner after finishing seventh in both his heat race and
his B-Main.
At Fairbury Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois on Saturday
evening, a whopping $30,000 payday was up for grabs in the 'FALS
Spring Shootout.' With 47 competitors on hand at FALS, Gordy placed
fifth in his loaded heat race prior to securing a victory in his
B-Main. The St. Charles, Missouri ace then worked his way past a
handful of competitors during the 60-lapper en route to a steady

Gundaker Lands on Podium with Lucas
Oil MLRA at Quincy!
(May
6, 2024) The
lone event over the weekend for the Gordy Gundaker Racing (GGR)
team was a visit to Adams County Speedway in Quincy, Illinois on
Sunday night, May 5. The Lucas Oil MLRA Series presided over a $5,000
to win shootout that drew 30 entrants to the western Illinois bullring.
Gordy Gundaker laid down the third quickest lap in Group B during
the qualifying session before running second in his heat race. After
starting the 40-lap feature from the outside of the third row, Gordy
was able to steer past a trio of competitors to land on the podium
in third behind only victor Tyler Erb and runner-up Earl Pearson,

Spring Nationals Finale

14, 2024) The
#11 team was in the pit area at the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway
in Wheatland, Missouri on April 12-13 for the annual running of
the 'Spring Nationals,' which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil MLRA
Series. In Friday's $7,000 to win weekend opener, Gordy Gundaker
placed sixth in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and eighteenth
in the 40-lap main event. With a $20,000 paycheck up for grabs in
the finale, Gordy grabbed the third transfer spot through his loaded
heat race prior to winding up tenth in the final finishing order

Gundaker Starts 2024 Campaign in Maquoketa's
Nippy 50
(March
31, 2024) The
2024 campaign for Gordy Gundaker Racing (GGR) officially got underway
over the March 29-30 weekend in the inaugural 'Nippy 50' at Maquoketa
Speedway in Maquoketa, Iowa. The unsanctioned Super Late Model doubleheader
kicked off on Friday night with a $10,000 to win opener. Gordy Gundaker
placed fifth in his stacked heat race prior to winding up twenty-first
in the final rundown of the season-opening 40-lap main event.
On Saturday evening at Maquoketa Speedway, the #11 team vied for
the $20,000 top prize in the 'Nippy 50' grand finale. Gordy knocked
down the eighth quickest lap overall during the qualifying session
prior to placing fourth in his loaded heat race. The St. Charles,
Missouri ace then moved up inside of the top ten during the course
of the 50-lapper and ultimately crossed underneath the checkers

Gordy Gundaker Sixth in Gateway Dirt
Nationals Opener!
(December
17, 2023) The
2023 season finale for Gordy Gundaker took place from December 14-16
in the 'Gateway Dirt Nationals' at The Dome at America's Center
in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The popular indoor spectacular
got underway with a pair of $5,000 to win preliminary events and
the St. Charles, Missouri ace participated in Thursday's program.
Gordy posted the fourth quickest lap in Group B during time trials,
ran second in his heat race, and later advanced up to sixth in the
25-lap main event to trail only victor Nick Hoffman, Jason Welshan,
Jadon Frame, Freddie Carpenter, and Mike Harrison.
On Saturday in the finale with a $30,000 paycheck up for grabs,
Gordy was leading his qualifier until a broken part in the rear-end
dropped him to a ninth place effort. Unfortunately, he was unable
to compete in the night's 40-lap headliner that was ultimately won

Gundaker Wraps Up WOOLMS Season at
Dirt Track at Charlotte
(November
5, 2023) The
World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series season wrapped
up in a big way from November 1-4 in the 17th Annual 'World Finals'
at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. Following
the qualifying sessions on Wednesday, a pair of $15,000 top prizes
were up for grabs the next two nights at the Charlotte-area speedplant.
On Thursday evening, Gordy Gundaker ran tenth in his heat race and
ninth in his B-Main. In a similar showdown on Friday evening, Gordy
placed eighth in his heat race and thirteenth in his B-Main.
With a $25,000 payday up for grabs on Saturday in
the series finale, Gordy finished fourth in his stacked heat race
and eighth in his B-Main. Unfortunately, the St. Charles, Missouri
ace was unable to advance into the three feature events at the 4/10-mile
oval and wound up thirteenth in the final version of the WOOLMS

World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series took the #11
team to Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana and Fairbury
Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois over the October 6-7 weekend. With
a $10,000 top prize up for grabs in Friday's 40th Annual 'Hoosier
Dirt Classic' at Brownstown, Gordy Gundaker ran second in his heat
race before climbing to fourth in the 40-lap feature to trail only
victor Bobby Pierce, Chris Madden, and Tyler Erb. At FALS on Saturday
evening with a $15,000 paycheck on the line, Gordy placed fifth
in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and fifteenth in the 50-lap
'FALS Frenzy' headliner. The St. Charles, Missouri ace currently

Gordy Gundaker Racing (GGR) team found themselves in the Buckeye
State on September 29-30, as the World of Outlaws CASE Construction
Late Model Series sanctioned a pair of events at Atomic Speedway
in Alma, Ohio. In the $10,000 to win weekend opener on Friday night,
Gordy Gundaker grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through
his heat race before advancing up to finish twelfth in the 40-lap
feature. In Saturday's $15,000 to win throwdown, Gordy ran fourth
once again in his heat race and eighteenth in the 50-lapper. Complete

Finale at Granite City!

24, 2023) After
a rain-out on Friday night at Tri-City Speedway, Gordy Gundaker
Racing (GGR) helped wrap up the 2023 MARS Championship Series schedule
on Saturday evening, September 23 at the Granite City, Illinois
oval. Gordy earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session
prior to finishing second in heat race action. After starting the
$5,000 to win main event from the inside of the third row, Gordy
was able to move up a spot in the 30-lapper to land in the fourth
finishing position behind only victor Mike Harrison, Jason Feger,

One for the Road Cut Short for #11
Team Due to Mechanical Woes

13, 2023) Following
the 'World 100,' the #11 GGR team ventured to Fairbury Speedway
in downtown Fairbury, Illinois on Tuesday night, September 12. The
annual running of 'One for the Road' was held at FALS last night
and the Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series battle shelled
out a $23,023 winner's check. Gordy Gundaker unfortunately suffered
terminal mechanical problems under the hood during hot laps and
was forced to scratch from the remainder of the program. Complete

Gundaker Enters 53rd Annual World
100 at Eldora Speedway
(September
10, 2023) The
53rd edition of the 'World 100' took center stage in Dirt Late Model
racing from September 7-9 at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg,
Ohio. The three-day extravaganza in the Buckeye State kicked off
with a pair of $12,000 to win, split-field preliminary events. On
Thursday night in the weekend opener, Gordy Gundaker ran eighth
in his heat race and sixth in his B-Main. At Eldora in a similar
program on Friday evening, Gordy finished tenth in his heat race
and fifth in his B-Main.
In front of a huge grandstand crowd on Saturday at
the "Big E," a whopping $56,000 winner's check was up
for grabs in the final night of the 'World 100.' Gordy placed eleventh
in both his loaded heat race and his consolation event. Unfortunately,
the St. Charles, Missouri ace was unable to make the start in the
three main events at the 1/2-mile, high-banked speedplant. Complete

Gordy Gundaker Competes in Labor Day
Doubleheader
(September
3, 2023) The
World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series sanctioned
a pair of $20,000 to win shootouts on September 1-2 in the states
of Wisconsin and Minnesota. On Friday night at Mississippi Thunder
Speedway in Fountain City, Wisconsin, Gordy Gundaker placed eighth
in his heat race, sixth in his B-Main, and sixteenth in the final
finishing order of the 50-lap main event. In a similar program on
Saturday evening at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota,
Gordy finished seventh in his loaded heat race, won his B-Main,
and later wound up seventeenth at the checkers of the 50-lapper.

Gundaker Back on Outlaws Tour in Quad
Cities 150 Weekend

27, 2023) The
#11 team ventured to the 1/4-mile oval at Davenport Speedway in
Davenport, Iowa from August 24-26 for the annual running of the
'Quad Cities 150,' which was once again sanctioned by the World
of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series. The triple shot
in the Hawkeye State kicked off with a pair of $10,000 to win preliminary
showdowns. On Thursday night in the opener, Gordy Gundaker utilized
a series provisional and eventually finished twentieth in the final
rundown of the 35-lap feature. Gordy also relied on a provisional
on Friday evening prior to advancing up to eighteenth at the checkers
in the 35-lapper.
At Davenport Speedway on Saturday, the conclusion of the 'Quad
Cities 150' weekend took place and a whopping $30,000 first place
prize was up for grabs. Gordy finished fifth in his stacked heat
race, third in his B-Main, and twenty-third in the 80-lap grand
finale. The St. Charles, Missouri ace currently finds himself twelfth
in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings exiting the

18 at the nearby Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois. The
annual running of the 'Gary Gerstner Memorial' was sanctioned by
the MARS Championship Series and a $5,000 payday was up for grabs.
Gordy knocked down the fourth fastest lap overall during qualifying
prior to securing a heat race triumph. After starting the 30-lap
main event from the outside of the front row, Gordy eventually landed
on the podium in third behind only victor Tony Jackson, Jr. and

Gundaker Advances Eleven Spots in
$50,000 USA Nationals
(August
6, 2023) The
36th Annual 'USA Nationals' took center stage in the Dirt Late Model
world from August 3-5 at the renowned Cedar Lake Speedway in New
Richmond, Wisconsin. World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model
Series action kicked off in the Badger State with a pair of preliminary
events - each of which shelled out a $6,000 first place prize. On
Thursday night, Gordy Gundaker started his weekend with a twenty-second
place performance, while he wound up twenty-sixth in the final finishing
order in Friday's 25-lapper.
When Saturday rolled around at Cedar Lake Speedway,
the huge grandstand crowd and eyes around the world were fixated
on who would emerge victorious in the $50,000 to win crown jewel
event. Gordy was in a coveted transfer spot in his B-Main when he
went up in smoke late in the distance. After switching to the back-up
car and starting twenty-fifth on the grid in the 100-lap headliner
- thanks to a series provisional, Gordy was able to pick off eleven

50.' The World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series presided

in the single-day throwdown. Gordy Gundaker posted the ninth quickest
lap overall during the qualifying session before placing fourth

30, 2023) The
33rd edition of the 'Prairie Dirt Classic' was on the racing calendar
for the Gordy Gundaker Racing (GGR) team on July 28-29 at Fairbury
Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois. The World of Outlaws CASE
Construction Late Model Series sanctioned the weekend at #FALS,
which kicked off on Friday night with a total of four $5,000 to
win preliminary features. Gordy Gundaker timed in twentieth fastest
in Group A during qualifying before winding up fifteenth in his
25-lapper. After relying on an emergency provisional to gain access
into Saturday's $50,000 to win PDC, Gordy vaulted up inside of the
top ten during the 100-lap headliner before mechanical trouble dropped
the St. Charles, Missouri ace to a twentieth place performance.

Gundaker, of St. Charles, Missouri, secured his first feature win
of 2023 on Saturday night, July 22 in the 'Tribute to Ed Dixon'
at Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri! Gordy timed in
third quickest in Group B during the MARS Championship Series qualifying
session prior to securing a heat race triumph. After starting the
40-lap feature from the pole position, Gordy led the final fifteen
circuits to claim the $5,000 top prize along with an extra $750
for laps led. Finishing behind his #11 machine at the unfurling
of the checkers was runner-up Ryan Unzicker, Jason Feger, Billy

night, a $15,000 top prize was up for grabs in the 'Johnny Mulligan
Classic.' In front of a huge grandstand crowd, Gordy Gundaker timed
in seventh quickest in Group B during the qualifying session before
grabbing the fourth transfer spot through his loaded heat race.
Gordy then steered past a trio of competitors during the 50-lap

5, 2023) Following
the conclusion of Heartland Speedweek, Gordy Gundaker invaded Tri-City
Speedway in Granite City, Illinois on Tuesday night, July 4. The
DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour rolled into the St. Louis-area venue
on Independence Day to preside over a $5,000 to win shootout. Gordy
clicked off the fastest lap in his group during the qualifying session
prior to securing a victory in his heat race. After starting the
30-lap main event from the inside of the second row, Gordy put on
a great show during the contest and wound up on the podium in third
behind only race winner Mike Harrison and runner-up Jason Feger.

River Valley Speedway Highlights Hectic Week

2, 2023) Gordy
Gundaker and his #11 GGR team followed the World of Outlaws CASE
Construction Late Model Series tour to the states of Iowa, North
Dakota, and Minnesota from June 27-July 1 for a total of four series
events. Their best effort of the week came on Thursday night at
Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, North Dakota. Gordy timed
in eighth fastest overall during the qualifying session prior to
placing third in heat race action. After starting the 40-lap main
event from the outside of the fourth row, Gordy wound up finishing
right where he started... in the eighth position.
Other finishes for the busy week included a fourteenth on Tuesday
at Mason City Motor Speedway in Mason City, Iowa, another fourteenth
on Friday at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota,
and a twenty-third on Saturday at I-94 EMR Speedway in Fergus Falls,
Minnesota. Gordy currently finds himself eleventh in the latest
version of the WOOLMS point standings exiting Heartland Speedweek.
