on the Podium at Farmer City Raceway!
18, 2019) Gordy Gundaker and his GGR Motorsports
team invaded Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on Friday
evening, May 17 for a weekly Super Late Model showdown. Gordy stopped
the clock third fastest overall during qualifying prior to picking
up a victory in heat race action. After starting from the pole position
and battling early in the race for the top spot, Gordy wound up
third and on the podium behind only $1,000 winner Allen Weisser
and runner-up Mike Spatola. Complete results from last night at

Gundaker Gains Five Spots
in Late Model Opener at Granite City
13, 2019) The #11 team dropped into Tri-City Speedway
in Granite City, Illinois on Friday evening, April 12, as the UMP
Super Late Models raced for a $2,000 paycheck. Competing in his
first Late Model race of 2019, Gordy Gundaker timed in fifth fastest
in his group during qualifying prior to running fifth in his heat
race. After rolling off from the outside of the seventh row in the
30-lap feature event, Gordy drove past a handful of competitors
on his way to a steady ninth place effort. Complete results from

Nightly Results from Volusia...
11, 2019) It was an ultra-busy evening for Gordy
Gundaker and the A-One Racing team tonight at Volusia Speedway Park,
as they competed in both the rain-postponed 'Gator Qualifier' and
the 'Gator Championship' programs. Gordy placed sixth in his heat
race and later won his B-Main to gain access into his $700 to win
qualifying feature. He moved forward in the contest and eventually
landed in the fifteenth finishing position. Later in the night,
Gordy grabbed the third transfer spot through his consolation race
to earn a coveted starting position in the $5,000 to win 'Gator
Championship.' During the 30-lap headliner for the Open Wheel Modifieds,
the St. Charles, Missouri ace completed 29 circuits and closed out
his busy "Speedweeks" with a twenty-fifth place performance.
10, 2019) Fresh off his big win on Friday night,
Gordy Gundaker was scheduled to be back in action at Volusia Speedway
Park in Barberville, Florida tonight in his 'Gator Qualifier.' However,
Mother Nature had other plans and pushed back his qualifying feature
until tomorrow, February 11.
8, 2019) St. Charles, Missouri ace Gordy Gundaker
picked up his first win of the young 2019 racing season and his
first Gator trophy tonight in his Five-Star 15 at Volusia Speedway
Park in Barberville, Florida! In the third of five 15-lap headliners
for the Open Wheel Modifieds, Gordy started third on the grid and
led early in the contest at the storied 1/2-mile oval. Looking like
he was going to run second to Chad Roush, Gordy caught a break when
Roush spun his mount on the final turn. This set up a green/white
restart and Gordy took advantage to score the $600 triumph ahead
of Spencer Hughes, Paul Miles, Brad Waits, and Michael McGee!
7, 2019) Gordy Gundaker was back in the pit area
at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida to challenge the
stout Open Wheel Modified field for the $1,000 windfall tonight
in round three of the 'DIRTcar Nationals.' Gordy clicked off the
fourth quickest time in his group during qualifying, but was involved
in a heat race wreck that left him ninth in the final finishing
order. Unfortunately, the St. Charles, Missouri standout was unable
to make the start in the 20-lap headliner.
6, 2019) Another $1,000 winner's check was up for
grabs for the Open Wheel Modified warriors tonight at Volusia Speedway
Park in Barberville, Florida. Gordy Gundaker stopped the clock third
quickest in his group during time trials prior to grabbing the third
transfer spot through his heat race. At the end of twenty green
flag laps in the A-Main, Gordy was paid for a fifteenth place showing.
5, 2019) The opening night of the 48th annual 'DIRTcar
Nationals' took place earlier this evening and over 90 Open Wheel
Modifieds were in the Volusia Speedway Park pit area to do battle
for the $1,000 payday. Gordy Gundaker unfortunately was not able
to transfer into the 20-lap opener after finishing fifth in his
stacked heat race and thirteenth in the Last Chance Showdown.
Gundaker Stops into North
Florida Speedway for Winter Nationals
2, 2019) Gordy Gundaker and the A-One Towing team
rolled into North Florida Speedway in Lake City, Florida on Friday
night, February 1 for a $1,000 to win Open Wheel Modified throwdown.
Gordy knocked down the fourth fastest lap in his group during qualifying
prior to running third in heat race action. The 25-lap headliner
was then pushed back to Saturday due to inclement weather and Gordy
started from the inside of the sixth row. The St. Charles, Missouri
ace then battled the field and the track conditions to an eleventh
place feature showing. The team opted to scratch from the remainder
of the 'Winter Nationals' weekend at North Florida Speedway and
will now turn their focus to the annual 'DIRTcar Nationals' at Volusia.
Nightly Results from East Bay...
26, 2019) The fourth and final night of the Open
Wheel Modified portion of the 'Winternationals' took place earlier
tonight at East Bay Raceway Park and all eyes were fixated on the
$5,000 paycheck. Gordy Gundaker ran second in heat race action,
which lined him up starting thirteenth on the grid in the 75-lap
grand finale. Gordy then blasted up inside of the top five during
the contest before ultimately winding up a strong ninth in the final

#11 entry ready to go for tonight's $1,500 to win Open Wheel Modified
battle at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida. Gordy posted
the fourth quickest time in his group during the qualifying session
and later grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his
stacked heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the tenth
row in the 30-lap headliner, Gordy was involved in a minor opening
lap skirmish before driving up to the eleventh finishing position.
24, 2019) A $1,500 top prize was up for grabs in
round two of the 'Winternationals' for the Open Wheel Modifieds
tonight at East Bay (FL) Raceway Park. Gordy Gundaker was still
fixing the front end of his damaged racecar from the night prior,
so he unfortunately did not turn a lap and scratched from the program.
Kyle Bronson emerged victorious in the 30-lap feature event at the
Tampa-area facility this evening.
23, 2019) The 2019 racing season officially kicked
off for Gordy Gundaker earlier tonight in the Open Wheel Modified
portion of the 43rd Annual 'Winternationals' at East Bay Raceway
Park in Gibsonton, Florida. A stellar field of fifty open wheel
warriors converged on the "Clay by the Bay" to vie for
the $1,000 paycheck. Gordy, who was wheeling a #11 entry for A-One
Towing, timed in sixth fastest in his group during the qualifying
session prior to placing seventh in his stacked heat race. The St.
Charles, Missouri standout was then up to second in his B-Main before
unfortunately going for a spin, which led to contact from another
competitor and relegated him to a twelfth place showing in the consolation
race. Gordy was not able to make the start in the 25-lap headliner
that was eventually won by Bryan Bernhardt.
