28, 2019) Next up on the racing calendar for Gordy
Gundaker was a visit to Fairbury Speedway in downtown Fairbury,
Illinois on July 26-27 for the 30th edition of the 'Prairie Dirt
Classic,' which was once again sanctioned by the World of Outlaws
Morton Buildings Late Model Series. A total of 72 cars converged
at FALS over the weekend for the mega-event that boasted a $30,000
winner's check. On Friday night, Gordy timed in seventeenth fastest
in Group A prior to charging up to fourth in his $2,500 to win qualifying
feature event to grab the final transfer spot behind only prelim
winner Brandon Sheppard, Dennis Erb, Jr., and Boom Briggs. After
rolling off from the inside of the seventh row in Saturday's 100-lap
PDC, Gordy primarily ran the bottom of the track and made a late
race charge to nab an impressive fifth place performance at the
checkers behind only victor Brandon Sheppard, Mike Marlar, Bobby

Gordy Gundaker Lands
Top Ten in Lucas Oil Visit to Granite City
13, 2019) Fresh off his tremendous weekend on the
"Hell Tour," which resulted in a pair of impressive victories,
Gordy Gundaker battled the cars and stars of the Lucas Oil Late
Model Dirt Series on July 11-12 in a doubleheader at Tri-City Speedway
in Granite City, Illinois. On Thursday night in the $12,000 to win
weekend opener, Gordy ran fifth in his stacked heat race, won his
B-Main, and later climbed seven spots in the 50-lapper to claim
a respectable eleventh place showing. In the $12,000 to win finale
on Friday evening at the St. Louis-area venue, Gordy placed second
in his heat race and battled hard for a top five effort in the headliner
before a late race restart dropped him back to eighth in the final
finishing order of the 50-lap affair. Full results from Granite

Gundaker Nets Summer Nationals Victories!
6, 2019) The DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour rolled
into Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, Illinois tonight, as
a $7,500 winner's check was on the line for the #11 team. Gordy
Gundaker, who won the last two nights during "Hell Tour"
action, posted the third fastest time in his group during qualifying
and later advanced up to second in his heat race. After starting
the 50-lap main event from the inside of the third row, Gordy blasted
up to third during the headliner to land on the podium behind only
victor Bobby Pierce and runner-up Mike Marlar.
5, 2019) For the second night in a row, Gordy Gundaker
emerged victorious in a thrilling DIRTcar Summer Nationals battle
in the Land of Lincoln - this time at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer
City, Illinois! Gordy laid down the fastest time in his group during
qualifying and won his heat race in preliminary action. After starting
the 50-lapper from the outside of the front row, Gordy once again
drove the bottom groove to perfection in the headliner and raced
for the lead with Shannon Babb over the final ten circuits. The
St. Charles, Missouri ace then came out on top of a spirited last
lap shootout with the #18 by throwing a mean slider in turns three
and four and beating Babb, Bobby Pierce, Brian Shirley, and Kent
Robinson to the checkered flag to claim the $10,000 top prize!!!

4, 2019) Gordy Gundaker, of St. Charles, Missouri,
claimed his second straight 'Herald & Review 100' title in thrilling
fashion tonight at the mighty Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois!
After timing in third fastest in his group during DIRTcar Summer
Nationals qualifying and running second in his heat race, Gordy
placed sixth in the fast dash to earn the outside of the third row
for the start of the 100-lap mega-event. Gordy then ran the bottom
of the 1/5-mile oval to perfection late in the race to advance up
to the second spot. A lap 99 caution flag set up a late restart
and "The G Man" was able to make a perfect last lap around
the hub to pass leader Bobby Pierce to grab the win and the $5,000
payday! Finishing behind his #11 machine at the checkers was Pierce,
Brian Shirley, Jason Feger, and Dennis Erb, Jr.! (Brendon
29, 2019) The busy week for Gordy Gundaker wrapped
up tonight at Highland Speedway in Highland, Illinois, as the DIRTcar
Summer Nationals tour presided over a $10,000 to win shootout. Gordy
knocked down the seventh quickest lap in Group B during qualifying
prior to grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot through his
heat race. The St. Charles, Missouri native then started fourteenth
on the grid in the 50-lapper and was up inside of the top ten when
he was deemed at fault for a yellow flag, which meant that he was
put to the tail of the field. Maintaining his innocence in the on-track
skirmish, Gordy opted to pull pitside for the night and was paid
for a twentieth place showing.
28, 2019) The #11 team was back at Tri-City Speedway
in Granite City, Illinois tonight, as a weekly show was held and
a $1,200 top prize was up for grabs. Gordy Gundaker won his heat
race in preliminary action and later started the main event from
the pole position. The St. Charles, Missouri ace then ran strong
throughout the feature distance and eventually landed in the runner-up
spot behind only victor Daryn Klein!
25, 2019) Gordy Gundaker Racing rejoined the "Hell
Tour" tonight with a visit to Tri-City Speedway in Granite
City, Illinois for a rain-postponed showdown, which boasted a $7,500
paycheck. Gordy Gundaker timed in fourteenth fastest in Group B
during qualifying before finishing seventh in his loaded heat race.
After eventually utilizing a provisional to gain access into the
40-lap feature, Gordy stayed out of trouble on the rugged racing
surface and crossed underneath the checkers in the ninth finishing

23, 2019) Following a rain-out on Friday night at
Tri-City (IL) Speedway, the #11 team ventured to Fairbury American
Legion Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois on Saturday evening,
June 22 for a $10,000 to win DIRTcar Summer Nationals throwdown.
Gordy Gundaker was quick right out of the box and knocked down the
fastest lap in Group A during qualifying before picking up a heat
race triumph. After drawing the third starting spot prior to the
drop of the green flag in the 50-lap headliner, Gordy sported one
of the fastest racecars during the contest and advanced up to second
in the running order. However, a leaking left front tire caused
the St. Charles, Missouri ace to drop back a few spots in the waning
laps to eventually wind up sixth in the final finishing order behind
only winner Brian Shirley, Frank Heckenast, Jr., Tanner English,

Gundaker Competes in
Summer Nationals Opener at Kankakee
16, 2019) In a weekend marred by inclement weather,
Gordy Gundaker was able to get one race into the record books at
Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois on Thursday evening,
June 13. In the $5,000 to win DIRTcar Summer Nationals opener, Gordy
timed in seventh quickest in his group during qualifying and later
grabbed the fifth and final transfer spot through his heat race.
After starting the 40-lap feature event from the outside of the
seventh row, Gordy was able to pick off a couple of competitors
to finish the contest in the twelfth finishing position. Other planned
weekend races at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois and
Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, Illinois were wiped out due

First Super Late Model Win at Tri-City!
8, 2019) In his lone event over the weekend, Gordy
Gundaker made it count in a big way, as he recorded his first-ever
Super Late Model victory at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois
on Friday night, June 7! Gordy won his heat race in preliminary
action at the St. Louis-area oval and later started the weekly main
event from the pole position. The St. Charles, Missouri ace then
went on to capture the $1,200 winner's check ahead of Michael Kloos,
Rickey Frankel, Ken Rumble, and Mark Voigt. The popular win marked
Gordy's first trip to victory lane since February in an Open Wheel

26, 2019) The GGR Motorsports team and driver Gordy
Gundaker turned in an impressive Memorial Day holiday weekend, as
they landed on the podium in a pair of events in the Land of Lincoln
on May 24-25! On Friday night in a $1,000 to win weekly Super Late
Model show at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois, Gordy
timed in second quickest during qualifying, ran second in his heat
race, and later placed third in the A-Main behind only victor Brian
Shirley and runner-up Bob Gardner. At Fairbury American Legion Speedway
in downtown Fairbury, Illinois on Saturday evening in a $3,000 to
win DIRTcar special, Gordy won his heat race in preliminary action
prior to vaulting up to second in the 35-lap feature to earn an
impressive runner-up performance behind only race winner Brian Shirley.

18, 2019) Gordy Gundaker and his GGR Motorsports
team invaded Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on Friday
evening, May 17 for a weekly Super Late Model showdown. Gordy stopped
the clock third fastest overall during qualifying prior to picking
up a victory in heat race action. After starting from the pole position
and battling early in the race for the top spot, Gordy wound up
third and on the podium behind only $1,000 winner Allen Weisser

first Late Model race of 2019, Gordy Gundaker timed in fifth fastest
in his group during qualifying prior to running fifth in his heat
race. After rolling off from the outside of the seventh row in the
